Each day starts as we wake up dawn,
misty morning sun.
Dogs, cows, chickens, hay,
get your gumboots on.
Smell the air, breathe in deep
grasses, wattles, gums.
Lots of chores, tea to start,
get the kettle on.
I love a well stacked woodshed, another form of functional art and makes me feel very cosy and prepared for the winter.
